Tom Kimmig
Cinematographer. Director. Storyteller for 360° Content
I graduated from Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie zu Berlin (DFFB). My debut documentary „Den Hörer in der Hand“ won an award for Best Cinematography at the festival Nonfiktionale in Bad Aibling. My filmography includes numerous short films as well as big movies such as „24h Berlin“, „24h Jerusalem“ and „Wacken 3D- the movie“. Since 2014 I have also focussed on the development of interactive, immersive 360° cinematography and Trans / Cross Media-Ideas.
I worked as research assistant at Filmuniversität Babelsberg Konrad Wolf's cinematography department. Their focus on 360°, VR and inactive confirmed my resolution to specialize in that field.
